The Ordinary Aloe 2% + NAG 2% Solution 30ml

Absolute holy grail. My texture improved within days and I'm hardly getting acne anymore either?! It also is so soothing that I can now use retinol most nights without irritation. I will cry if they stop making this lol 😆 (also, I literally never leave reviews for products if that tells you anything. It's that good.)

I got this a bit ago and I used it for 8 weeks just to see what it would do, I struggled with scarring, redness, texture, and a broken skin barrier. This serum didn't really help with the the darker scarring, but it definitely did help with the lighter and smaller spots here and there. Completely fixed my skin barrier, and therefore also fixed my redness (one issue came from the other) I'M TELLING YOU I GOT SO MANY COMPLIMENTS. My skin texture also definitely improved a lot, my skin feels a whole lot smoother. Not only did this serum work wonders but it's also super moisturizing and leaves the skin with a satin finish. Love it.

This is magic for acne. I had acne on my jawline/side of face for a year and nothing cleared it. I tried everything! This cleared it in a few days after using morning and night. It is too early to tell for acne scars but I'm hoping with time, it clears the acne scarring too!

I started using this product after my micro needing sessions in hopes that it would help during the healing period. I was beyond impressed. No adverse reactions with my skin, and I feel like the results from my sessions are even better than before. Will definitely keep this product on hand

This product helped me tremendously with my menopausal facial acne!! This cream helped clear my facial acne, and reduced scaring. You really don't need much but let me tell you it works beautifully on my face, it completely healed and soothed my skin.

This serum is very hydrating and soothes my skin when I apply right after I do a chemical peel or microneedle… I highly recommend! I’ve used this serum for a little over a month now and I see a difference on my acne scars, they’re almost gone. I’m definitely repurchasing.

I brought this about 2 weeks ago and it had really cleared up my teenage pimples. I applied this every day in the morning.\nHowever, the downside is it can be very expensive to purchase but does the job.

This product really has reduced redness and faded my acne marks within a few months of use. Great stuff I will keep using this!

I can’t say I love nor dislike this product. I’ve recently added it to my night routine and it certainly helps boost the moisturizing of my skin. I’ll continue to use it and see if anything major changes, but at least it is moisturizing.

Just bought this product three days ago and had recently been struggling with insane breakouts after switching from a previous consistent regimen I had. I was searching for a serum that was lightweight and non anhydrous, that would refine my skin barrier and post acne marks. Literally three days in and it’s improved my skin more than the last month of using another serum. I have combination skin but it’s been damaged and dry for over using exfoliants, and this product has also helped with healing the irritation. It does come off a little strong when you first put it on but in a clarifying sense. Overall super satisfied with it so far and am looking forward to adding this to my regular skin routine.

Safe to say that this is a new favorite of mine. I always love products from The Ordinary and this is no exception. A little goes a long way, so you’ll have a pretty hefty supply with this one bottle. I thought from the reviews that I saw that this was going to be a nemesis of mine, a source of just more oiliness while not really solving the dryness that I experience after a day at the beach or a quick shower. That’s not the case, though. My skin feels luxurious after I use this. There is a bit of tightness, but it feels like my large pores are potentially shrinking after a bit of this here and there. I love it!

As a person with very dry and red skin, I was so excited to try this product! I believed the aloe portion of the solution helped my skin to feel and look more hydrated. The NAG portion of the solution helped with my redness, but not to the extent I thought it would. I think if I continuously used the serum, I would see more results over time! Overall, I would add this product into my skin care routine and am recommending it to my friends with similar face issues. \n\nSide note: I do not believe this serum would be beneficial for people with oily or neutral skin, so I would warn people to understand the texture and tone of their face before buying.

this was a bit of a trial and error experience. at first i felt like using it every day was giving me more acne.. i was breaking out as i used it. i backed off to about every 2-3 days after serious exfoliation and toning, and i liked the results much better. it’s worth the price for sure, but it’s not something i’d really purchase again. i have normal skin, so it’s a little too heavy to use every day, but i will be using it a lot more in the summer because of the aloe, it’ll make my sun tan/burns go in much nicer. it has a minimal chemical smell which isn’t bad at all, and i like that it’s clear. it takes a minute to soak in, and i cannot put it on 2 times a day like it recommends. but for someone with dry and acne prone skin, this will be wonderful!

I have been so pleasantly surprised by this product. I’ve been using it for about a week now and I’m beginning to see slight changes in my skin. According to the brand, this product diminishes uneven skin tone and adds moisture to the skin. In my opinion this product adds more moisture to the skin over time versus instantaneously, which I prefer. I also feel like it has helped get rid of acne blemishes and some of the redness on my face (would love to see how this works on sunburns). My favorite part is that it leaves a slight cooling effect (nothing crazy) on the skin. I have worn it under makeup and noticed nothing different. This has become a staple in my skincare routine!

Another incredible product by The Ordinary, always so affordable yet high in quality! \nFirst thing ive noticed was how nourished my skin felt when it was added to my routine ! The aloe really sooths and balances out redness, as well as hydrates so well! My texture looks more minimal as well. I was also so happy to see Glycerine as an ingredient because its so helpful for rejeuvenating and moisturizing the face especially in conjunction with hyalauronic acid ! \nThis serum is absolutely amazing! 10/10 would reccomend !! \n(Both photos feature bare skin, i am just wearing eyeliner/lipstick in one of them)
