The Ordinary Set for Melasma, Pigmentation, and Dark Spots Gone!

I've been using this for a few months and I noticed a difference early on. I pat it on with fingers (it's like water) and let it dry. I use it every morning after washing and only need a small amount of moisturiser as it doesn't feel drying. I'm in my 70s and it's brightened my skin totally - a brilliant product!

This has helped so much with these acne scars I have had for years it is insane. This is the difference in a year of using it no filters or anything its great.

This product is my holy grail. I'm 38 and I've struggled with acne all of my adult life. This deeply cleanses and exfoliates. I rarely get pimples any more. It's very strong. I recommend using a timer and start with only a few minutes. I'm not a make up girly but using this once a week or bi weekly leaves my skin looking presentable without makeup!

I bought it for the first time and used it day 1. Saw incredible results ! I was looking for a product to brighten and smooth some texture on my forehead and chin area and it did that immediately. Next day results were even better. I could feel how smoothe my skin looked when I woke up. I only let it sit for 7 min. Maybe next time I will try 8.

After battling with my skin for months and because anxiety and stress made me look dull, I was looking for an exfoliating product but as my skin is very sensitive I avoid harsh scrubs…I tried it for 3 min on the first time cause I was afraid it would be too strong, in only 3 min I got a baby skin, super soft and i literally saw my pores getting cleaner. Blood peel as i call it. Gives funny pinching sensation when applied on skin. I use it for face , neck, shoulders and hands. Nicely removes ded skin but must be carefull with timing. Better shorter than too long, from my experience if you are begginer let skin adjust othervise u will burn it. Like this product, use every other week and alwas apply moisturiser afterwoods

Been using this toner for a couple years now, def a staple now. I know your not “supposed to” but i use with my retinol nightly. Then my am routine is hydration/ antioxidant repair.. i always get compliments on my skin

I started using the old version of this product in the clear bottle, which worked wonders, I saw a change of my dark sports within a week, and in one month my face was spotless. After my bottle finished I reordered, only to receive the new version in the brown bottle, the product was completely different and I saw no changes after using it for 3 weeks, eventually I stopped using it as not only did not work but it also smelled horrible!!! I searched online and reordered from an online retail and got the older version in which I can confirmed worked well. Please BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA IN THE CLEAR BOTTLE, with the clear formula, as I won’t be buying the new formula it’s horrible and smell really bad, I hate applying it on my face due to the smell and made it worse that it did not work after using it for a complete month. Horrible product, why change the formula if it wasn’t broken?

This chemical peel is awesome! So far I have only used it twice with a week in between each usage. I am slowly trying to make my way up to using it once every week, but since I don't particularly have acne scars and such I might just stick to twice a month. The product is great at getting rid of that top layer of dead dull skin and leaves your face feeling fresh and clean. I will say that following instructions is a MUST!!! I've heard of a lot of incidents with this and aside from now following directions I am not sure how someone could end up with burns. If you're not an experienced user (I.e. use acids regularly on your skin) I would stay away from this one until you have built some tolerance as it can feel tingly on the skin; which is normal. Overall, I do see myself continuing to use this and will recommend it ONLY to experienced acid users and people who know how to patch test.

This product has changed the game for my adult acne!I have oily, sensitive, dry skin. Yes, even when it's overproducing oil, it's still dry.I bought this product with hyaluronic acid + the moisturizer. The moisturizer I use only at night, as it is a bit too thick for day time use, but it also is good to put on after the Glycolic acid to reduce dryness by the acid**.There was an adjustment period with this, as they describe it is a bit tough on sensitive skin. So I started with every other day and now apply it every night. Best purchase by far to break down any build up to stop the acne before it occurs. I also noticed my acne is less cycstic than it used to be. CAUTION ABOUT THE SUN!!! This product does make your skin more prone to burns and brown spots by sun exposure. SPF is your friend with this stuff. I kind of learned the hard way with this one. Worth the try if you are acne prone!

Sooo..I find this too harsh on my face. I guess I'm just not as oily as I used to be, due to all the ordinary goodness (Niacinamide, Retinol etc.), so this one I now use on my back and arms, skin clears up and feels great! I also put this in my armpits to prevent sweating, a hack I learned from a blogger. My prefered AHA for now is the mandelic acid. I began using this product in May of this year and have been using it everyday and now I'm back to buy the larger bottle! I absolutely love this stuff. When I first got it, I used it every other day then began using it every night once I knew it wasn't horrible on my skin and now I use it both in the morning and in the evening. My skin is prone to mild break outs and it's sensitive so I was prepared for the worst; but the worst never came. It has significantly cleared up my skin, even in my problem areas along my jaw, and has made my skin the smoothest it has ever looked since before puberty haha. \r\nI found the best way to apply it so it's not sticky is right after I'm done washing my face to just pat my face until it's not dripping wet and pat 3 drops of this product onto my skin after rubbing it around in my hands. I let it dry before applying my facial oil/ sunscreen lotion.

I've never written a review before, but I'm so happy with this product, and with the fact that it is being offered for a reasonable price (thank you TO so much), that I just want to share my experience.\r\n\r\nI've only used this for 4 days, twice a day, and I'm already seeing positive results. I have a very thin, transparent skin, and veins showing through it create a kind of sickly overall look, especially around the nostrils. I also have redness all over my face, and some pigment scars from acne. All these are less visible after just 4 days! I'm beyond happy and will post another review once I see my long term results. The serum is also perfectly non irritating and I'm able to wear it day and night without any problems. Easy to put on, and easy to combine with other products. It feels great on my skin, and I feel like it lightly controls my excessive oiliness, too. Just perfect. <3

I recently started taking care of my skin again and bought a few select products after endless research. Been very good with my routine for about 2 months now. This AHA/BHA peel is my newest purchase (just got it this week), and it has been The Best Thing yet! I never review anything before using it for at least a month, but this peel was truly effective from the very first use. The blood-red color freaked me out, but aside from some mild tingling, there was zero discomfort. Followed the directions exactly as stated, followed it up with only a thin layer of Buffet (my other recent fav), and my face just looked healthy and fresh -- and even more so the following morning. I can't say enough about this serum. I am 41 years old and have struggled off and on with blemishes my whole life but more so since I had my kids. I have had problems with little bumps, milia and blackheads on my face, neck and chest for years. I have used SO many different products...cleansers, toners, serums, oils, exfoliators and moisturizers. I have spent way too much money on products that didn't work and the ones I thought worked do not even compare to this line. I have had facials and laser treatments and microabrasion which were the only things that really helped but were very costly. I recently purchased a bunch of products from The Ordinary and I am blown away!!! My skin is so smooth and soft and 90% of my bumps are gone!!! I know it is mainly from this serum. So I’m basically OBSESSED!I purchased the AHA 30% and BHA 2% peeling solution, Niacinamide 10% + zinc 1% and the glycolic acid 7% toning solution. I benefit greatly from reviews written online so I wanted to write my own here to hopefully help others in their research. I am generally quite skeptical of beauty products and am low-maintenance, but I still always want to look presentable. I have about max 5 products on my shelf at any time for my whole body and most are zero waste. I occasionally have small breakouts, and I resent the time they take (applying makeup, healing when they pop etc.), I decided to try this serum thanks to reviews, packaging & cost, and honestly didn't really think it was working. Then I went away for a 1 week trip without it and got 2 pimples. It may be a coincidence, as the change has been so subtle for me, but I will continue to buy because the application time of 5 seconds each PM and low cost (the bottle looks to last me about 6 months) is worth saving my time and energy when I have breakouts.

This was the product that I was a little bit afraid to use. I don't really have bad acne but I do get clogged pores pretty easily. I have extremely dry skin so I was worried that this was going to make that even worse. I started off only using it twice a week and I wasn't seeing the results I had hoped for. However, I also wasn't seeing any negative side effects. It wasn't making my skin even drier so I decided to start doing this once a day. Since increasing, a few blemishes have popped up but I'm not too upset about that. I'm going to continue to use this once a day because I've noticed that my skin looks much brighter and the small blemishes I do have heal much, much quicker!\n I usually layer this under the Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5. (I have to make sure I let the first layer dry completely before applying the HA or else the HA balls up. That's not a big issue though.)
