The most recent purchase (7/2025) of this product is so different from the old purchase, it has strong fragrance, please take of the fragrance if you updated your formula recently. The older version is so good with no fragrance or irritation at all.

I’ve been using it for years now and it’s great. It provides my face with the protection it needs.

My favorite tinted sunscreen ever!!! Have not been able to replace it with anything else! Most others are HEAVY feeling. PLEASE, PLEASE, BRING IT BACK.

A few years ago Clarins reformulated this sunscreen to include chemical sunscreen ingredients. The old formula was the best sunscreen I had ever used, it was not greasy, left a matte finish, had no scent, didn’t run into my eyes, didn’t irritate my skin, and it was lightweight. The new formula, which everyone seems to agree is far worse, judging from the reviews, is very greasy, has a scent, and irritated my skin. My guess is that the sales of this new formula are much lower than the old one. Clarins, if you want to boost your sales and give your customers what they want, please bring back the old formula. The new one is one of the worse sunscreens I have ever used.

I love this product! I have been using it for many years. It is literally the only sunscreen I can wear on my face that doesn't make my eyes burn. It is so gentle. It works great. I wear it everyday. I love that it is a mineral sunscreen and not a chemical sunscreen. I could go on and on about how much I love this sunscreen. I can't live without it.

I received my order I have used it for a couple of days and leaves your skin nice and soft. First bottle and I really like it on my face makes it smooth.

I use this facial sunscreen every day/multiple times a day. It goes on a little white at first, but once it rubs in, you cannot tell it is on. Does not feel oily or like I have product on my face after, which I love.

Very light texture and smooth application. It is weightless and works under a daily make up.

This is a great product! I have used it for 20 years! I did prefer the original formula because it had less chemicals. However, this is still very good if you are looking for a light weight sunscreen that you can apply make up to. It is great for people who have melanin! However all skin tones would be happy!

Prior version did not cause any sensitivity and seemed lighter on my skin. I WAS recommending this to everyone I knew with sensitive skin. It was worth the price. Now not so much as it seems thicker and it has the chemical elements that put other sunscreens off my list. While better than the drug- sunscreens it is NOT better than the 40 spf version that was more mineral based. However, it is hard to verify the contents because my old 40 sf does not state any contents other than titanium dioxide....and the newer version also contains titanium dioxide. I'd like to know the true difference other than how it feels on my skin! That said, it serves its purpose though not as pleasant on my skin.

I loved the previous version of UV Plus which only had titanium dioxide; it was the perfect sunscreen (no fragrance, didn't sting my eyes, matte finish, lightweight). The new formula irritates my skin as it contains chemical sunscreen ingredients, and is a lot greasier than the old formula. Clarins, please listen to all of the reviews from the many people like myself who want the old formula back. You're losing customers if you don't change the formula back. Chemical sunscreens are not as effective as physical, and they absorb UV rays, which can't be good.

SPF Facial Sunscreen is the best item I use prior to putting on my foundation. I always want the non-colored sunscreen. It gives my dry skin a good moisturizing and my foundation goes on so well. Over time my discolored facial areas get resolved from using the SPF Facial Sunscreen also. Been using this combination for many years and it helps my skin keep moisture when I go out into the environment. Without the sunscreen if I just put on foundation over a moisturizer, my skin looks very dry quickly rather than over time.

Some of the low reviews make me scratch my head. I had laser resurfacing and my atologist approved this product once I healed enough.\nEvery sunscreen I tried felt like paste on my skin. This product is light on the skin plus it evens out my skin tone somehow. A bottle lasts nearly a year and I use it every morning, rain, shine, winter, summer. I also use the tinted during the winter months instead of a foundation. Cannot live without it! Highly recommended!

it is the only sunscreen that i like, i alway get breakouts with other sunscreen. it is light and blended to skin well. i used to like old lancome sunscreen before, it has the same consistency very fluidy but they reformulated it and it is kind of heavy and thick. i was glad that i found this one. and then it has been out of stock for a while now and i was afraid that they are phasing it out. so i am so glad that they restock it. hopefully i will receive it before my other one runs out. please don't change it. thanks for not phasing it out or reformulating it.

So I can't speak to the UV protection, etc because I've only used it in the winter, but after an insane acne breakout due to an IUD, I needed the coverage but didn't want to feel weighted down, and this was my savior. I love that I can layer it over a layer of foundation and it keeps my skin hydrated and the makeup in place. Now that my acne is under control this works an a great light weight weekend coverage plus SPF, which is always appreciated. I find this a little hard to blend, but a beauty bender fixed that issue. I highly recommend trying it, especially with summer coming up, this is going to be my go to!

This sunscreen is not only lightweight but also\r\nsimple to add to morning routine/application; blending easily on top of my 3 rotating Clarin's Day Moisturizers and is seamless under full coverage BB Cream etc.I am fair complected in my 40's,24/7 US Equestrian rider (20 degrees below <>100 degrees hot) This (fragrance free ) sunscreen is as essential now as it was in my 20's. Protecting our skin's integrity includes preventing serious sun damage. Please do not change a thing about this formula it is the real deal!

As a daily sunscreen for year-round wear under makeup, I was sold on the untinted mineral UV40 and bought every unit Nordstrom had in stock when the change was announced. There is no 50SPF 100% mineral sunscreen on the market; everything now has some chemical boost to increase the protection level. I was concerned about irritation from the chemical element, but I have not experienced any. It is a bit thicker than the original but does not melt off. I have been able to increase the effectiveness of the brightening serum and prevent the acquisition of more little brown sun spots.

The well designed opening allows me to apply small dots of this sunscreen all over my face then I lightly blend evenly into my skin. Unlike other sunscreen products on the market today, UV Plus Sunscreen Multi-Protection goes on light, colorless, and grease-less. Days I will be outdoors I allow my first application to completely dry then I add a second application to the more sun vulnerable bridge of my nose, ridge of my forehead, and across my cheeks. I have very fair skin and never ever burn when wearing my trusted UV Plus Sunscreen Multi-Protection.

I purchase a bottle of this sunscreen for each summer season since my trip to Europe in 2015. I love the luminescent glow it gives my skin and makes an ideal layer underneath my foundation. Non-greasy and yet just ever-so-slight moisturizing effect. I swear, it also diminishes light discoloration although I have no proof. It definitely has been a major player in my effort to protect my skin. It has helped keep me looking younger than almost all of my friends in their 60s.

I have been using the old version for couple of years. Bought 2 bottles of the newer version during last sale but haven't got the chance to use it yet. So, when I read the not so good reviews about the new version, I was worried. Finally started using the new sunscreen this week. It really is not bad. I do like the scent. Very clean smelling and def not so strong that it will overpower any perfume. no issues with the coverage. In short, I love it and the new formula is not a turnoff. The higher SPF coverage is a plus.
