The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Serum 30ml

It’s the bomb !! I’m a very young 70 year old woman . And I am blessed with great dna ( genes ) . But in all honesty I have always loved creams and potions for my skin! I have never gone to sleep without washing my face and doing my regime . This product is great ! I’m embracing The Ordinary because it shows the results and they are amazing. Ps Put Sunscreen on! 😅

I started using the Hyalauric acid in July 2024 because i had read about the benefits of iit. I alao started the Niacinamide at the same time. I discovered The Ordinary trying to find an affordable and trustworthy source. All suppliers were insanely expensive and it was always a mystery cream. To say these 2 products work is stating it mildly. My skin went from tired, starting to wrinkle, uneven skin tone, dark spots and freckles to me not using makeup anymore. No more redness, spots, blemishes. I recomme d starting with these 2 products and the glycolic acid toner. I've thrown out all my other products and am a solid ordinary girl now. No more camera filters either.

This is just magic! I used it to get rid of wrinkles, applied it for a week, and the result? All of my wrinkles disappeared!

Must have after every face wash. Great moisture seal, very efficient and fast absorbing. So simple and so effective the same time. One small bottle last about 7/8weeks. Have been using it for almost 2 years, just regret that didn't tried sooner.

I love this product and I’ve been using it for a while now. The quality, the visual result to myself, and price is excellent.

I have been using a 60 ml. bottle and it is almost gone. Not sure is there has been a big difference but it is highly regarded so I will try another bottle. Hydration is always good for 67 yr. old skin. I do not put it under my eyes as the area puffs up and gives me bags that I don't usually have. It applies nicely and has no smell. All in all I am pleased with this product.

Have been using this product for about 3 years and am delighted with the result, whilst not stopping the aging process, I feel it’s slowed it down

I’m new to using the Ordinary products so after reading the reviews and watching some YouTube videos praising this product, I decided to try it, however it didn’t agree with my skin. I tried it for 4 days on my neck and on the 4th day I got painful bruised patches where it was applied so unfortunately it’s not for me.

I have been looking for that glow from a product and was at a loss, probably hundreds of dollars and tens of products later, I got a chance to use this. People thing price defines a product, but it definitely doesn’t. When I use this otra usually at night so no sunscreen is necessary as I’m usually head to bed. But let me say this has knocked out at least 3 expensive skincare products out of my daily rotation. I tried it on my hair as recommended and it brought it back to life! Instant shine and my hair actually looks healthy, and not dry and brittle. I went through the first fairly quick since I use it for both my face and hair. I first tried it on the back of my head/hair in case I got a reaction, which not uncommon for me as I have very sensitive skin. Another plus is that it is fragrance free, which is rare for skin products.

I received this to review from Influenster for my honest review. I’ve been using it daily for the last few weeks and have been happy with how hydrated my skin looks and feels when I wake up in the morning and throughout the day. I normally have dry skin and I’m actually going through chemotherapy right now which also dries out the skin but my face skin has been looking good. I was even complimented on my make up free complexion by a random person. This is the only recent addition to my skincare routine so maybe it’s this.\n\nIt’s a small bottle but one drop is enough for the whole face. It’s absorbent and light weight. Your skin does feel a little tacky after it dries out but it’s not an issue after applying moisturizer. \n\nI would definitely buy it again, especially at this price point.

This hyaluronic acid serum was not for me. I was attracted to the formula, because of the addition of B5 and ceramides but after using the serum for a few weeks, I did not notice a difference. I have used many hyaluronic acid serums, most of which did not work for me. The few that I have found that are effective are over $100. I did not like the way the serum felt on my face as it left a slightly sticky feeling, and my usual, make up routine did not sit as well on my face when using this product. I did start using it on my scalp as I didn’t want to waste it. I have a dry scalp and works better for that purpose because the sticky feeling isn’t an issue in the hair. I’m happy to see that this works for a lot of people but I have really dry skin, so maybe if your skin is normal or oily this might be the one for you.

I am going to be honest, the first time I used this Hyaluronic Acid Serum, I was not a fan. I wore it as the base in my morning skincare, followed by moisturizer, primer, foundation, and powder. Everything was typical for me besides the serum, and by late morning my makeup was separating in my t-zone. I looked absolutely horrible. Most likely it was because of the foundation I wore that day, or possibly something being oil based without me realizing it, since this product is water based. With that being said, I absolutely love it being apart of my nighttime skincare routine. I wake up looking glowy, with plumper skin. A little goes a long way, and I would recommend a few minutes to let it dry in between steps. I am still hopeful to find the right products to wear it under makeup, fingers crossed that I do! Which if that happens, this will be a holy grail!

I am very grateful for the opportunity to try this hyaluronic acid by the Ordinary. Thank you to Influenster and the Ordinary. This acid is lightweight and has no smell. The texture is smooth and thicker than water. It feels cool going onto my skin. It feels nice and soothing. It’s best applied to damp skin to lock in moisture. That way you get the full benefit of the product. I learned this after applying it to dry skin. My skin felt extremely dry afterwards. I didn’t have that problem anymore once I applied it to damp skin. I love that it started to heal a very dry patch on my chin. You can see it on my video review but it was way worse before applying this acid multiple times over the past couple weeks. I didn’t use it every night. More like every other day. I really liked this acid. My skin seems to do well on it.

I'm a regular hyaluronic acid user and look for it in the skin care I purchase. So when searching I came across this particular brand and read some reviews and also noted that its ingredients are very clean. The less chemicals they use on my body as I get older and the more sensitive skin issues the better. And my skin reacts quickly as I get older! I mainly started using it and one thing I noticed almost immediately was my pores on my face reacted immediately to the serum along with the fine lines I have. That response alone was enough to make me review this product! I usually review products when I am disappointed in the results! Another plus is my facial redness has decreased significantly. I use it morning and nightly and under my makeup because it blurs my pores and fine lines so my makeup doesn't settle in them. The best serum I've used so far!

This is a fantastic, simple, but effective serum. I'm 56 and have used high end skincare most of my life, having worked for 3 cosmetic companies that you see in the s. Very over priced, complicated products. This one is fantastic. I use it as my 1st step after cleansing and before a couple other products. Morning and evening. My makeup seems to be lasting longer throughout the day and my redness doesn't seem as pronounced. I cannot say it's because of this Hyaluronic Acid Serum, but it's been a nice addition to my routine. I love The Ordinary and will continue to use this after this bottle is gone! \nPS....I forgot to mention how smooth and soft my skin is after applying this! It sinks in almost immediately. And I haven't had any issues, such as breakouts, irritations, clogged pores, etc. The picture I posted is me today, after using this for a couple weeks with a full face of makeup.

Let me start by saying what an amazing serum this is. It has only been a week of me using it but I can already see the results. My face looks so much brighter and can even see some glow back on the face. After applying it even helps in reducing the appearance of dark circles and tired puffy eyes. My eyes looks so much brighter. Initially when apply it does feel a bit sticky but gets absorbed with in seconds making face feel soft and hydrated. It keeps the face moisturized throughout the day. I love how light it is and spreads easily. I use it twice a day once in the morning after shower and once before going to bed. The bottle is frosted and super cute, just have to be a bit careful with the eye dropper as it made of glass too, so don’t wanna drop and break it. This is my go to everyday serum now and will definitely be getting more once I run out of the promotional one.
