The Ordinary Matrixyl 10% 30ml

Straight up. Used this once daily for the 1st month. Then went to twice daily. 100% there is, after two a months, a noticeable difference in my skin glow! Im now 2 months into am and PM routine and this stuff works. To what degree? Its hard to say but ive gotten comments on my glow. Im leaning toward adding the copper peptides to my routine. This AM that PM. Ill update. But yah skin is rejuvenating!

I have been using this product for about a year now. I am 32 with combo dry/normal skin that is very sensitive. I also have the start of crows feet, laugh lines, and forehead lines. It was honestly shocking to see a visible change upon my first use. I have used a lot of skin products, and with 95% of them I just never saw visible results like this one. Within 20-30 minutes of applying, I can actually see diminished wrinkles. I even worked with 20 year old kids and they would ask me how my skin looks so great. Lol. Please never get rid of this product. I will cry. Like, ugly cry.

From all the searching I have done regarding what actually is Matrixyl and what does it do, It seems that when combined with Argireline there is benefit in reducing static wrinkles. I found out that Matrixyl is a combination of Palmitoyl Tripeptide 1 and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide 7. And both of those are in The Ordinary Multi-peptide and The Ordinary Multi-peptide+ Copper serums, along with other proven ingredients. I think these 2 serums give you more bang for your buck. And if you are using Argireline it seems that you get best results when also using Matrixyl. I was searching for information on Argireline when I found all the information regarding Matrixyl.

I love the ingredients and have been using this product for the past few years and saw improvements fairly quickly. I live in a very Phoenix, and it is really dry here. Not only is the climate dry, the air conditioning also dries out the indoor air. HA doesn’t work in a dry climate and can actually pull the moisture from your skin. so a few hours into the day, my skins feels parched. HA is all the rage now, but it isn’t appropriate for everyone. I still use this product but have to go through several steps to try to minimize the HA effect. I would urge the ordinary to consider making a formula without the HA for those of us in dry climates.

I think ordinary changed something in the formula for couple of their product. I got acne all over my face with using their serums. I am trying to return them but I have not heard back from them. So the problem started exactly the day after I add them to my routine. Nothing else is new and I have not used them all at once. I never add everything that I bought all together. I tried them one by one and couple of days in between. This was suppose to be a replacement for the pricy Vichy HA serum so I can use that less than every day.

I have been using this a year and a half. By accidentally discovered this magic serum for my face and neck. I used argireline solution 10% for a while but decided to give this one a go. My face is pumped since i've using this, and i could keep coming back to get the same one for neck and face. Didn't feel the sticky at all, as it absorb quite well into my skin. I am 39 this year and so far didn't see the fine line or aging sign on my face. I think must be the peptide works!

I brought this a month ago and I’m very happy with it. I use it on my fine lines and wrinkles. I definitely think it stops more appearing and covers some of the fine lines. I use it in the morning and the evening.

This is the type of product that you may not think has an effect...until you've been without it for a month or two and you suddenly realise you look like a withered husk that has blown in from the Sahara.\r\n\r\nIn just a week of starting to use it again, my skin is plumper and more radiant and my under-eye area, which is my area of concern, looks a lot less lined.\r\n\r\nI use this on my entire face, including around my lips and eyes, every day before sunblock and makeup. It's not greasy, doesn't affect my foundation and REALLY makes a difference in my skin. 10/10 recommended.

This stuff works wonders on dynamic lines (smile, frown lines, etc.).You may not notice it's effects immediately- I wasn't sure if it was working, but then I stopped using it to try a different regimen and really took notice of the deep lines it was erasing. It absorbs well, has a nice moisturizing feeling, no irritation, and can be used with many other TO products. I only wish it's effects were permanent, but thats not how peptides work, unfortunately. P.s. I'm currently using Niacinamide, Matryxil, and retinol in squalane (in that order) each night, and I've got my 25 year old skin back (I'm 36)!

I’ve been using this for years now and it’s my holy grail product. \nReally hydrates my skin and completely transformed my forehead wrinkles. Like all good things, it took time to see a dramatic difference, but now I hate to run out of it!

I bought this on a recommendation & it is brilliant. The HA is soothing & instantly plumps and hydrates. The matrixyl 3000 is definitely improving my skin firmness over the last 6 weeks. I even take it over my eyes with no irritation & my eyes look brighter, more hydrated, less tired.

Last year, my resolution was to invest in good skincare. I watched a lot of YouTube reviews and tutorials, and settled on The Ordinary because everyone loves it and it's affordable. I started with the squalene cleanser and hyaluronic acid, and gradually added more, until I now feel I have found the right routine. I am 59 years old, and thankfully look younger, but I was troubled by dryness and fine lines. Now that I am using hyaluronic acid, Granactive Retinoid and Matrixyl together each night, and Matrixyl / hyaluronic acid in the am (plus moisturizer), I see SUCH a difference! My skin is glowy, and the lines are not as noticeable; I actually looked in the mirror the first thing this morning and was startled at how good my skin looked WITHOUT MAKEUP. I am a very happy customer!

I started using Matrixyl in Jan 2024 in AM only, so just over 4mths in. I love what it's doing for my skin, so far. It's a lovely light serum that works great with my moisturizer, sunscreen and makeup. I use niacinamide & retinal.02% at night (having stepped up slowly with lower retinoids) and the combination has really started giving results. I've recently had 3 totally random comments about how good my complexion looks (I've never had happen before)! I'm fair skinned with freckles and over the years gained sun damage, pigmentation, wrinkles, enlarged pores, breakouts and more! All of these latter issues are definitely improving - I wish I'd started this skincare regime years ago! I love The Ordinary products and im so glad I started using them.

I'm 28, I have dry sensitive skin, and rather pronounced dynamic lines on my forehead. The lines were there since I was a teen, just a skin feature of active facial expressions I guess. In the last couple of (very stressful) years these lines got deeper and longer, across all my forehead. I tried multiple products and this one is the best so far. It took a couple of months until I noticed the results. My lines smoothened out, not completely of course, but they are far less noticeable. Strange enough it didn't seem to affect my smile lines or area around the eye so much. However, once I'm out of this product, it seems like the lines are coming back, so I will keep using this for now. With TO it's hit or miss for me, multipeptide serum breaks me out very quick, and argireline did nothing, so one just has to find the product that matches ones' skin.

I’ve been obsessed with Deciem since my 30th bday last year. This product transformed my skin drastically within three months of usage. I’m 100% in alignment with reviewers’ opinion that it makes my skin plump overnight. I’d wake up the next morning with a youthful rejuvenated glow. I've known about matrixyl for over 15 years or longer when a company based in Canada named Isomers got the patent from Sea for a few years. They charge?d a fortune but it worked and was touted as 1000 percent better than vitamin C. When the patent expired, every cosmetic company worth their weight in gold jumped on it, charging even more. I've been using it for years, but until I used this, I never saw much difference. Between the argiriline and matrixyl I have seen any wrinkles fade a lot. I use both morning and night. This works, period! I love both products and used consistently, they do the job. I am a long time Deciem fan but very rarely leave reviews but as I am on here to order my second or third bottle of this stuff, I was moved to add my grist to the mill. I absolutely love it, It has made a huge difference to the way my skin looks which I can see and I have also had some great compliments from friends. I am in my late forties, with reasonably good skin but hey, you know, gravity! This makes a big difference and I think that the other big factor is the L-Ascorbic acid powder. I have read your recommendations and I use the L-A a two or three times a week max, at night, dissolved in some HA 2% and the other nights either just HA or Niod Survival 0. I can't say that I've seen much change to my skin since I started using this about a week ago, however I love the consistency and the idea that it's helping with my wrinkles! It feels slightly tacky while it's drying but then sinks in to the skin, leaving it feeling almost tight. I always follow with a moisturiser just to add some hydration back in to the skin. The only reason I didn't give it 10 stars is because I've noticed that it's clogged my pores a bit on my forehead, but that happens to me quite regularly if I apply too many products to my skin night and day. I'll give it a break for a couple of days and that should go away. I do feel that my skin looks a bit smoother since starting to use this. I just turned 44 and it seams like the past few years, I have started to have wrinkles. I must say I was always complimented on my wrinkle free skin before I hit 40.I was at a point where I even started to look into the skin treatments I could get to look younger. I happened to stumble upon this brand while looking, and I decided to order this product! OMG, its been two days and I already see the difference, even my husband says that I look younger!!!! Honestly, I can't say with a great degree of certainty what impact this product has had on my fine lines, but it just applies so well and feels so great on, I'm not going to quit it! I have definitely had improvement in elasticity - my skin is more plump and hydrated, brighter, and I feel there has been a reduction in the appearance of fine lines, but I'd contribute some of that to the Hylamide SubQ Anti-Age as well (another great one!). I've just started a rolling and applying the Matrixyl after this process and it seems to be helping even more.
