The Ordinary Niacinamide + Glycolic Acid Duo

I've been using this for a few months and I noticed a difference early on. I pat it on with fingers (it's like water) and let it dry. I use it every morning after washing and only need a small amount of moisturiser as it doesn't feel drying. I'm in my 70s and it's brightened my skin totally - a brilliant product!

I bought this product 20 days ago, and wow, the change is already noticeable. It doesn't irritate the skin, the changes are quickly visible, my skin is soft, and it's super easy to use. After trying many other brands, this one has become my favorite. I recommend it 100%.

Been using this toner for a couple years now, def a staple now. I know your not “supposed to” but i use with my retinol nightly. Then my am routine is hydration/ antioxidant repair.. i always get compliments on my skin

Best products ever. It takes time for it to work for me cause my face was bad. I wanted to have the glass look I saw on social media. So I decided to buy all the products that face need. 2 weeks ago I added the Anua niamicin to beauty regimen cuz I wanted the products to work fast. All those products, I rotate them to different. I was never comfortable to take pics without selfie. Now,vi have nothing to be afraid of. I can't wait to see what my face is going to look like in 3 months. I'll let the pics speak for themselves.

I’ve been using the glycolic toner for a few weeks and it changed my life. As you can see in the left photo, my skin is so inflamed, red, puffy, oily and dull. I’ve been using it every day for 3 weeks as my nighttime skin care routine. I apply sunscreen every morning before I do my makeup too. I had been so insecure to not wear makeup because my skin was always red and oily. And putting on foundation with my skin like that didn’t even look that great. My redness would always seep through. After 3 weeks, my skin is so brand new. My makeup looks so much better on my brand new skin!! I love it. I’ll be buying this for the rest of my life!

I bought this product a little before Christmas. I have lupus + combination skin. I struggle with acne around my period and in my Tzone, but my skin is dry everywhere else. I love the way this feels after I apply. I use a few different products from this brand but this is by far the best out of all the products I’ve used. Completely changed the texture of my skin. I no longer have forehead bumps or flaky skin around my cheeks. Love this product.

My skin has been bad for many years, it seemed like I have adolescents skin at my 34years. After having a baby 3 years ago I got bad pigmentation on top lip and on my cheeks. Someone recommended me niacimide and I have been sceptic as I have tried literally everything, spent tons on skin care products that didn’t give me the results. I am 3 months into using niacimide and I am so surprised. I haven’t expected that my skin could ever come to this point where I am now, and it keeps getting better. I am still far away from where I want to be , but this is a huge improvement for me. I recommend this product so so much.

I have been on a skincare journey with The Ordinary for the last 6 months and I can't believe the change in my skin. This serum is my most recent purchase. One word amazing!!. I'm already using hyaluronic acid+b5, buffet, glycolic acid and now niacinamide. All of these products have helped my acne prone, combination, 40 year old skin. I noticed the niacinamide reduced the redness around my nose, helped the bumps on my forehead and reduced the frequency and severity of my acne. When I do get a pimple it is much smaller and heals quickly. I use this product everyday in the morning and I combine it with buffet. Buffet is also an excellent product that gives my skin an amazing glow. Thanks for giving me my confidence back. 10/10, would recommend.

Just opened up my order from my Slowvember sale and unfortunately, I must report that this item has been the victim of SHRINKFLATION. I was shocked when I unboxed it to see it less than 50% its original size. I think the last time I bought it was a coupla years back and I *believe* it was about 250mL. Now? It is at 100mL. It literally looks like a travel size! So I cannot comment on the product itself, but if you're purchasing it, be aware that it is a very, very small bottle.

This product has changed the game for my adult acne!I have oily, sensitive, dry skin. Yes, even when it's overproducing oil, it's still dry.I bought this product with hyaluronic acid + the moisturizer. The moisturizer I use only at night, as it is a bit too thick for day time use, but it also is good to put on after the Glycolic acid to reduce dryness by the acid**.There was an adjustment period with this, as they describe it is a bit tough on sensitive skin. So I started with every other day and now apply it every night. Best purchase by far to break down any build up to stop the acne before it occurs. I also noticed my acne is less cycstic than it used to be. CAUTION ABOUT THE SUN!!! This product does make your skin more prone to burns and brown spots by sun exposure. SPF is your friend with this stuff. I kind of learned the hard way with this one. Worth the try if you are acne prone!

Sooo..I find this too harsh on my face. I guess I'm just not as oily as I used to be, due to all the ordinary goodness (Niacinamide, Retinol etc.), so this one I now use on my back and arms, skin clears up and feels great! I also put this in my armpits to prevent sweating, a hack I learned from a blogger. My prefered AHA for now is the mandelic acid. I began using this product in May of this year and have been using it everyday and now I'm back to buy the larger bottle! I absolutely love this stuff. When I first got it, I used it every other day then began using it every night once I knew it wasn't horrible on my skin and now I use it both in the morning and in the evening. My skin is prone to mild break outs and it's sensitive so I was prepared for the worst; but the worst never came. It has significantly cleared up my skin, even in my problem areas along my jaw, and has made my skin the smoothest it has ever looked since before puberty haha. \r\nI found the best way to apply it so it's not sticky is right after I'm done washing my face to just pat my face until it's not dripping wet and pat 3 drops of this product onto my skin after rubbing it around in my hands. I let it dry before applying my facial oil/ sunscreen lotion.

I've never written a review before, but I'm so happy with this product, and with the fact that it is being offered for a reasonable price (thank you TO so much), that I just want to share my experience.\r\n\r\nI've only used this for 4 days, twice a day, and I'm already seeing positive results. I have a very thin, transparent skin, and veins showing through it create a kind of sickly overall look, especially around the nostrils. I also have redness all over my face, and some pigment scars from acne. All these are less visible after just 4 days! I'm beyond happy and will post another review once I see my long term results. The serum is also perfectly non irritating and I'm able to wear it day and night without any problems. Easy to put on, and easy to combine with other products. It feels great on my skin, and I feel like it lightly controls my excessive oiliness, too. Just perfect. <3

Considered not writing a review since there are already so many, but here we are. I have been using this Niacinamide for about a year now and swear by it. I had run out and ran to the like an addict for more (amazing that I can go to a for it btw). If you have breakouts, blemishes etc--this is your potion. It does make my face dewy/oily, which isn't bad, I just prefer a matte look, so I use it for PM. I don't mix it with anything either. I don't even follow with a moisturizer. It has no smell, it doesn't burn, no rash--nada. It also works fine under make-up when I do decide to wear it in the AM. The price is so low, I say just try it out. This product kicks butt. It is seriously so good for my skin type and helps with my ~chronic~ acne. My skin is neither oily nor dry. I used to get deep acne on my cheeks, nose and forehead. I also had rash like acne on my cheeks and blackheads along the base of my nose. After religiously washing and moisturizing my face, changing pillow covers, avoiding certain foods, and just about every other remedy out there with little to no change to the state of my skin, I decided to try this product. It works like magic for me. I put it on my problem areas both morning and night after washing with Glossiers Milky Jelly cleanser and my skin is doing better then it has been in years. If I feel a zit/ pimple coming I use a couple of drops and with in 36 hours it is gone. (This is in comparison to upwards of 3 weeks before!)Love it. I would suggest this to anybody who struggles with acne!

I can't say enough about this serum. I am 41 years old and have struggled off and on with blemishes my whole life but more so since I had my kids. I have had problems with little bumps, milia and blackheads on my face, neck and chest for years. I have used SO many different products...cleansers, toners, serums, oils, exfoliators and moisturizers. I have spent way too much money on products that didn't work and the ones I thought worked do not even compare to this line. I have had facials and laser treatments and microabrasion which were the only things that really helped but were very costly. I recently purchased a bunch of products from The Ordinary and I am blown away!!! My skin is so smooth and soft and 90% of my bumps are gone!!! I know it is mainly from this serum. I just am amazed and how quickly my skin has changed. I can't recommend this serum enough, I am addicted!!!

I benefit greatly from reviews written online so I wanted to write my own here to hopefully help others in their research. I am generally quite skeptical of beauty products and am low-maintenance, but I still always want to look presentable. I have about max 5 products on my shelf at any time for my whole body and most are zero waste. I occasionally have small breakouts, and I resent the time they take (applying makeup, healing when they pop etc.), I decided to try this serum thanks to reviews, packaging & cost, and honestly didn't really think it was working. Then I went away for a 1 week trip without it and got 2 pimples. It may be a coincidence, as the change has been so subtle for me, but I will continue to buy because the application time of 5 seconds each PM and low cost (the bottle looks to last me about 6 months) is worth saving my time and energy when I have breakouts.

I have combination to oily skin and have acne-prone skin. This product helped my skin so much! It definitely cleared my skin well, kept stubborn pimples at bay, and while I needed to combine it with spot treatment products for those, I had a good time with this product. I tried this product consistently: 3 drops on my forehead and both cheeks, every day, morning and night, from when I got it in September and I just ran out about a week and a half or two weeks ago. The product has a period after opening/expiration date of 12 months, but judging from my experience, 30ml will last you a long time! I have many small pimples making themselves known so I'll be buying another bottle to stop the party before it gets bigger :') at least I know this product works better than all the others I've tried, and super affordable too!There was something interesting I noticed though

This was the product that I was a little bit afraid to use. I don't really have bad acne but I do get clogged pores pretty easily. I have extremely dry skin so I was worried that this was going to make that even worse. I started off only using it twice a week and I wasn't seeing the results I had hoped for. However, I also wasn't seeing any negative side effects. It wasn't making my skin even drier so I decided to start doing this once a day. Since increasing, a few blemishes have popped up but I'm not too upset about that. I'm going to continue to use this once a day because I've noticed that my skin looks much brighter and the small blemishes I do have heal much, much quicker!\n I usually layer this under the Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5. (I have to make sure I let the first layer dry completely before applying the HA or else the HA balls up. That's not a big issue though.)
