The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum for Hair Density 60ml

I use this 1-3 per week. Significant increase in hair density when comparing my part line from 12 months ago.

I've been using this serum for almost 4 months (finishing my second bottle) every day after washing. I don't have a dramatic hairfall, postpartum, anything like that. I just have naturally very fine thin soft hair. This product is a game changer, truly. I can't recommend it enough!

I have been using this hair serum for almost a month now and all I can say is wow! This actually works! I was very skeptical or “hair serums” has others I have tried just never lived up to the name but I am happy to report I have seen a massive improvement! Can I say this works for everyone , no, but did it for me? Absolutely! I shall be continuing to use this daily until I run out and then buy some more! 10/10!

After wearing slick hairstyles continuously I noticed two thinning patches at both corners of my hairline, I didn’t see much difference until I was on the second bottle using most evenings, but so glad I continued! \nMy hairdresser was shell shocked at all the new hair growth! Will continue to use :)\nThe serum is much lighter than a hair oil so less greasy.

I was sceptical of buying this product but after seeing the reviews I thought I’d give it a go. I would say consistency is key as it took me about 6 months to really see progress but now I’ve got so much new hair growth. I recommend taking before pictures so you can see how much your hair improves.

I have fine and thin hair. This definitely makes my hair appear thicker. It is also the case that my bone straight hair has been holding curl longer when I take the time to curl my hair.

Like anything worthwhile having, such is great hair, this takes awhile, but be consistent. I’ve been using this product for years, I have fine and thin hair. There were times I was less consistent and I noticed more hair fall. Is this a product I’ll likely use for the rest of my life? Yes. Because throughout my use I’ve noticed my hair is much healthier and thicker while using it. Does this mean you lose progress with discontinued use? Maybe. That’s been the case for me. But even with the rising costs, this used to be a $15 purchase and now it’s pushing $30, it’s still a relatively inexpensive way for me to keep my confidence up. I apply most nights, and although it can leave a bit of a residue, that doesn’t bother me considering the results. I have found I wash my hair every other day now since a consistent healthy clean scalp also contributes to healthy hair.

Unfortunately this made my scalp very inflamed, hot and the discomfort persisted for weeks after stopping it while I continued to loose excessive hair. I love most Ordinary products but feel this formula is not gentle enough for my scalp. At first I tried to be patient and continued using it for 3 nights in a row as instructed before realizing my whole scalp felt hot and too many hair was shedding. I went back to rosemary oil mixed with castor oil.

I started using this product about 2 months ago, and while i feel like there is a crazy improvement, when i look at me before pictures i see very little change. Maybe it's the pictures, maybe it's a placebo effect but i do feel like my hairline is getting fuller when i don't focus on the pics.\nHowever, I'm just finishing my first bottle so one bottle lasts about 2 months which is great!\nI'll order another one and if by the end of this one i still see no progress in the pictures I'll just consider that it doesn't work that good, at least on me :(

5/5 when I first started buying this formula around 2021 to get my hair back after chemotherapy. \n\nSomething has changed since then in their formula with my continued use to keep my hair full, Now it's \nlost it's power. \n\nGo back to the old formulation, PLEASE!

So far I have been using this a month, but not persistently everyday, so I will try to keep consistent to see if my hair density changes. I can’t tell just yet.

I purchased and used this serum in the front of my hair and it fell out. It's been more than 6 months since I first starting using it and may hair still hasn't grown back. I'm extremely disappointed with this product trying to figure out how to re-grow my hair \r\n \r\n \r\n u

This is absolutely the best hair growth product I have ever used. My hair used to shed a lot and you can see bald spots, especially I was afraid the situation would get worse post partum. However, after using it for 8 months since post partum, it made my hair roots much stronger than my shedding has reduced by 80%! All the bald spots are pretty much gone now, and I can see my hair is much denser than before. This product made my confidence and self esteem come back and as many of you will know hair loss could make one person fully depressed. Thank you DIECM for making such amazing product. I will continue to purchase this product lifetime as long as it is available. So please don’t discontinue this product. It will be great if there’s the option of a larger size. Again, amazing product that does that it says! Love it!

I bought this with the intention of using it in my hair to supplement my baby hair growth. But I thought, hey, why not try it on my eyelashes too? So I would put a few drops onto a qtip and gently brush it onto the hairs and a bit of the lash line every night. \r\n\r\nFor backstory, when I was young, I had to get a surgery on my lower lids and they had to get rid of all the eyelashes there. Ever since then, I've been struggling to grow my lashes out, they were never thick or long. After using this for a few weeks I see a noticeable difference in my bottom lashes specifically. I never thought I'd be able to grow bottom lashes again, but here we are! \r\n\r\nStill waiting on results for my thinning hair though. I massage it into my scalp about an hour before bed and it's a little greasy, but not TOO terrible. My scalp is on the greasy side anyways.

Has worked for me. After meno,pause I started losing hair. When I started using this 8 most ago, my hair was thin on top - had to use Toppik hair makeup to take the eye away from the shine of my scalp. Besides the loss of quantity of hair strands, each strand had thinned and was limp and lifeless.\n\n Very gradually I've seen improvement. I realized recently that I don't use the Toppik these days. The top of my head now has more hair and overall my hair is much improved.\n\n Still on my first bottle, it is a great value. Hoping that in another 6 mos my hair shed event will be a distant memory. I used it for a looong time, and I was convinced nothing was happening to my hair...I applied the serum to my scalp every other day, sometimes every day, for around six months. I have average density very straight and very oily hair. Sometimes with dandruff, but I manage it with pharmaceutical shampoo easily. So as I was saying, I was going through the bottle thinking I will not be repurchasing. Until today when I took a good look at my hairline. I used to have two visible triangles of fluff/baby hairs protruding significantly into the hairline. Well, they are practically gone, and are covered with real, chin length hair strands! It’s great) I used about half of this product and will continue using it! Thank you The Ordinary! Pro tip: persist, use regularly and take pictures of your hair, otherwise it’s hard to see the changes!

My scalp buildup has improved (although I also started using a new shampoo so I don’t know if I can attribute that to this product entirely) \r\n\r\nNo improvement in my hair shedding or density/look/volume etc unfortunately. \r\n\r\nIt is very greasy so I can only apply night before a wash day (my hair is thin and fine) \r\n\r\nMy hair is as greasy as ever so I still have to wash it more than I’d like, If I don’t want to look terrible! \r\n\r\nWhen I apply the product I see quite a bit of hair fall. I try to apply all over my scalp but it’s not easy to get into the scalp and the bottle doesn’t last long that way. Probably better for patch application. \r\n\r\nI’ll probably try another similar product rather than repurchase this one.

Poi a marzo dello scorso anno ho avuto il Covid 19, che mi ha lasciato con più o meno la metà dei capelli, oltre che con un pacemaker...Dopo quasi un anno di disperazione totale, mi sono ricordata del siero multi-peptide per la densità dei capelli ed ho ricominciato ad usarlo. Quale sorpresa! Mesi di pianto dopo ogni lavaggio e all improvviso, dopo soli 3 o 4 giorni, i miei capelli non cadevano quasi più. Prima trovavo tantissime ed enormi ciocche nello scarico, ora potrei contare i capelli persi da quanto sono pochi. Può sembrare strano ma la mia chioma mi sembra più piena e compatta, non oso pensare cosa succederà dopo che l avrò utilizzato per un periodo molto più lungo. Un altro must have Deciem!

I bought this during the sale last November, tested it out mainly on my hairline where I have a lot of baby hairs. I wasn't consistent and stopped using it due to dealing with forehead acne (and wasn't sure if this was contributing). Started using it again 2 weeks ago, but all over my scalp. I use about half the dropper each night, section off my hair in four parts and massage the serum into my scalp. I don't notice any hair growth or density (my hair is pretty dense to begin with), but what I love is how healthy this serum has made my hair. I wash (with shampoo) and blowdry my hair every morning. Because of the daily heat from blow-drying, my hair tends to feel dry and coarse but after using this serum, my hair feels silky, it's bouncy, takes less time to dry. I'm just in love. My hair hasn't felt this healthy in years!

I have been using this for some time. By now, maybe a year and a half with mixed results. My hair loss comes in waves, and fluctuates with what's going on with me - hormones, stress, medication, etc -- and this didn't stop it or make (most of) my hair denser. But I will still use it as I like the way my scalp feels. My reason for commenting is that I see most people say they use a drop or two and that's all that's needed. Really? How is this possible? I can't get any kind of feeling that it's even on my scalp with that little amount. I am using 1/2 dropper full here, and 1/2 dropper full there, on several points of my scalp, and then massaging it in. Am I using this wrong? Again, I can't even feel it on my scalp with a few drops, let alone spread it over the top of my scalp. (If I am using as much as I am, I can't imagine getting results with the fewer drops recommendation.)

I've only been using this for a month but I feel like I have to say something about this. I used to shed a lot. When I detangled my hair in the shower I would have like 40-50+ strands of hair in my brush when I was done. After the first week of using this product every night, I already started noticing that I had way less hairs in my brush. Now it's been almost a month since I've been using it every night before bed and I only have like 4-5 hairs in my brush after detangling. I also noticed that my scalp is never itchy anymore and I can go without shampooing my hair much longer than I could before. My hair feels and looks so much healthier. I can't say if this will help with hair regrowth but to me this product has been amazing already. I will definitely keep using this product for as long as DECIEM sells it.

I've had problems with smelly sebum from overwashing my hair. It's a hard cycle to stop. Since the pandemic hit, I've also experienced quite a lot of hair thinning. I've tried numerous shampoos and conditioners/moisurizers and nothing has changed. I have quite a few skin products from The Ordinary, and I've been using most of them for about 2 years. I have a lot of confidence in the company, so I tried this serum for hair density and once I understood how and when to use it and what it is primarily for, I really like it. My scalp feels so comforted, with no itching. I don't have to worry about buiild up on my scalp - somehow this cleans, controls those oils, doesn't dry my scalp out and overall makes my hair look fuller. I expect to see a reduction in hair thinning. I'll let you know about that in a couple of months. Thank you for another great product.
