The Ordinary Behentrimonium Chloride 2% Conditioner for Hair 240ml

I’m very pleased with the results after using The Ordinary shampoo and conditioner.\nMy hair feels soft, well-nourished, and looks noticeably healthier after just a few uses. It’s easy to brush, has a natural shine, and doesn’t feel heavy. I also appreciate the minimalist formula without unnecessary chemicals.\n\nMy only suggestion would be to increase the bottle size, as the products are excellent but finish rather quickly.\nOverall, one of the best hair care duos I’ve tried — I will definitely repurchase.

I absolutely love this product, it's the best conditioner I've ever used. But the bottle design is really bad. I have to unscrew it every time I use it, and getting the last bit out cleanly is impossible.

I love using this no-fuss hair conditioner. Makes my hair smooth & soft, there is no weighing down the hair and overall I enjoy using it. My hair is bleached blonde and slightly dry (the hair itself, not scalp), and after using this conditioner it feels simply more alive. \r\n\r\nWhile I enjoy the simplistic look of the rectangle-shaped bottles, I find that I started to struggle to get the product out really early on. This is not an issue with the shampoo, as it's more liquid, but with conditioner being quite thick, I find a lot of the product is stuck in the corners of the packaging. I ended up cutting the bottle and there was enough conditioner for several uses.

This is the best conditioner I have ever used! It makes my hair soft without feeling heavy or looking oily. I have sensitive skin issues so it was difficult to find any conditioner I could use. I did not expect to find one that worked with my sensitive skin and worked so well! Highly recommend!

I REALLY want to love this. I had high hopes based on a Refinery 29 review. The texture of this is so different... It's very dense and thick, like a mattifying primer. I have lots of medium-thick shoulder length hair and I didn't experience much slip at all and I'm really surprised by the reviews that say it provides that. I think my hair needs silicone... This just wasn't a silky smooth conditioner for me! I'm going to keep using it but I think I'll need a lot... Also surprised by those who say a little goes a long way. My hair just didn't feel conditioned :( I'm so jealous of those who love it! But I love and trust you, Deciem. My skin is still yours :)

I am very sensitive and super oily scalp person, have thin hair that easily gets greasy. To me, it is always a problem to find prof quality products for hair without smell and harsh additives. These two guys from Ordinary suit just perfect for shiny, not smelly, soft hair and untroubled scalp. \r\nI already using it for 1,5 months. So the only thing I would ask from the brand is to make higher size package with dosage, as due to texture it might become complicated to easy use conditioner when it is already half way empty. The same with shampoo - it's a bit sleeky, so sometimes I get more than I need. 500 ml or 1 litre package options would be great. Thank you!

This is my new favorite conditioner. Simple but effective. Love the packaging too! I wish there was a large refill because I anticipate I will be using this product for a long time. I think it's worth trying this product and the shampoo if you are willing to use more basic products. They are effective.

I LOVE this product. I HATE the packaging. Firstly, it’s ugly and blocky, secondly the cap is flimsy and every single time I purchase it breaks before I’ve finished the product, and lastly it’s so dang small. I would love if they revamped the packaging in a more classic shampoo/conditioner way. Other than that, this is by far my favorite conditioner. Somehow it is exactly what my fine hair needs. Not too heavy, but intensely hydrating. I love love love it.

I would love to be able to review this product properly having used it twice and enjoyed the results so far. But I can't keep using this or the shampoo as the bottles are impossible to use. I have to pre decant it prior to entering the shower.andnits just too much work. \r\nI honestly have no idea how this packaging passed any sort of release. \r\nIt's so hard and impractical. There must be so much wasted product! \r\nAnd for anyone with arthritis or really any type of differing ability to grip this packaging is impossible to use. \r\nSo disappointed especially as skin care is so easy to use and to see the product left. Even the tubed skin care is soft and easy to handle. \r\nPlease do better The Ordinary

Just like most of the other reviews, the bottle is not the right packaging for this product. \r\n\r\nI wanted a fragrance-free shampoo and conditioner to add essential oils to, and since I’m obsessed with all things Ordinary, I bought this as soon as I saw it. I thought I had a defective product because it was so thick and unfortunately wasn’t able to add my oils. I don’t have very good grip strength so I have to use both hands and squeeze the bottle super hard to get the conditioner out. I love how it makes my hair feel so smooth but I won’t be buying it again unless the packaging changes.

My hair is low porosity, slightly wavy, medium thickness and very long but it is hard to condition, my hair really doesn't like oil, all other conditioners leave residue in my hair, but The Ordinary one does not. My hair feels so smooth and when I brush my hair, even when I brush it wet I have way less hair loss, in fact sometimes I only loose about two hairs whereas before when I would brush my hair I would lose so many because it was hard to untangle but this conditioner makes my hair easy to brush. I only need a small amount as well, first time i used it i used a lot and it was too much so only a small blob of it which surprised me as I do have long hair. I hope they never change the ingredients or formula, only thing I don't like is the shape of the bottle, its hard to get out especially when its coming to the end of it.

I was hopeful this would work out-- I suddenly ended up with sensitive skin and scalp out of nowhere and needed fragrance free replacements for my usuals. I got this and the shampoo together and while I had an exceptionally poor reaction to the shampoo, the conditioner didn't cause me to break out like the shampoo did. \n\nThe fact I didn't break out gives it 3 stars in my book. But also it's a super light conditioner that wasn't effective for my suddenly very dry hair+scalp situation. If I was trying this in the summer, this might be my favorite conditioner, but for now I'm a bit disappointed. \n\nLong story short: didn't break me out, very lightweight conditioner, didn't really suit my needs for this season, but might in the summer.

I was really pleasantly surprised by this conditioner and the brand in general. I never considered using products by The Ordinary because I assumed, for the price, how good could they be? This conditioner changed my opinion after the first use. A small amount, about the size of two stacked quarters, is enough for my shoulder length hair. There isn’t much of a fragrance. My hair combed out easily after using. My hair looked smooth and significantly thicker and healthier after the first use. I received several complaints about how my hair looked after using this product. Several of my friends have bought this conditioner to try after seeing my results. I would definitely recommend it It retails for $8. You won’t be disappointed.

I have autoimmune issues and I'm sensitive to a lot of common haircare ingredients. It is always a struggle for me to find products, including conditioner, that don't a rash or some other issue. I have had no problems at all with this conditioner which has been great. I have super fine hair and this doesn't weigh my hair down so that's a plus also. The downside is that this conditioner will probably be too lightweight for most people. It is honestly a small step above nothing in terms of how much it moisturizes, which is fine with me but won't be fine for everyone. It doesn't really do anything to prevent frizz either. That being said I had given up on using conditioner at all since it was too frustrating to find one that worked so this has been a win for me. I would definitely buy this again.

The first time using this conditioner was a bit odd to me (and my teens), but not in a bad way. I expected it to be a bit thinner since it had only a few ingredients but the first time using it I felt like it wasn't enough. It was somewhat of a learning curve, because we're used to heavy thick conditioner. After getting used to the consistency, it was all uphill from there. it was easy to rinse out, and left my hair soft and it feels so much lighter. My daughter used to always complain about dry itchy scalp, she became so picky about what she used on her hair because certain products make it worse. This shampoo and conditioner is all she will use now, which makes mom very happy because the price is unbeatable. So glad to have a product that works for the whole family that is affordable!

I recieved this product through Influenster. I am reviewing the conditioner (left).\n\nThis conditioner was not great but I also cannot complain too much. The product was thick which was nice because I definitely dont like runny conditioners. After using it continuously for about 2 weeks, I do think my hair is shinier. However, it also made the ends of my hair dryer than usual which was not the best outcome. Other than the dryness, my hair does look and feel healthier and fuller.\n\nI think its also important to note that my hair is very long so this bottle did not last for more than 8 washes. This conditioner may not be worth the money if I have to buy it so often.

I was skeptical after trying the hair cleanser that I received with this conditioner but it was better than expected! The shampoo was runnier than I am used to but the conditioner more than makes up for it. It is a thick creamy consistency and it coats and really feels like it’s penetrating my hair to soften and moisturize. It truly is fragrance free which is different but definitely a deal breaker. My biggest complaint is that the formula is so thick and the bottle is square it is actually really hard to get the product out. After the first couple uses it takes a while to get the product out. Other than that minor inconvenience I really do like this conditioner and would consider adding it to my usual hair care routine.

I really liked this conditioner. It is a lightweight product which actually seemed to give my hair more body. It also made my hair softer than usual. I have frizzy wavy hair that I straighten. After I straighten it, my hair always lacks body but not so with this conditioner. It seemed to control the frizz in my hair also. I would recommend this conditioner to my family and friends. It basically has no scent to it which I'm sure many people prefer. Personally, I do like a light scent to my hair products. The packaging is plain and minimal like all The Ordinary products. For myself and my type of hair, this product worked well and tackled my problem areas.

I used this product yesterday and really liked it. It was a bit on the thick side but it did come out easy where most people say it doesn't, It almost looks like Vaseline but it's not as thick as that. I used an average amount to get a good feel for it and it made my hair smooth And tangle free and rinsed out really easy. I tend to put my hair in a bun after I get out of the shower and let it dry that way sometimes it'll be really frizzy sometimes not but with this it was smooth the wave and curled areas stayed smooth and looked nice. The only thing I didn't like about it is I did not smell a scent to it. My 11 year old said it smelled good and he loved it too and he loved it too and wants to keep using it. I would recommend this to somebody looking for a good decent conditioner.

I've been using Behentrimonium Chloride 2% Conditioner by The Ordinary for the last couple of days now. I wasn't sure what to expect at first because the matching shampoo was a bit watery, but I was really pleased with this conditioner. It definitely moisturized my hair a great deal which I was happy about because with cleansing shampoos, sometimes your hair is left feeling a bit coarse and dry. I didn't experience any dryness at all and I feel the shampoo and conditioner as a pair works very well and is effective in cleansing the hair and scalp and moisturizing. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants a good cleansing/moisturizing conditioner for their haircare regimen. If you really want to go all out, try out #theordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA serum and see how well the trio works for you!

So, I liked the fact that I got great coverage with this product. It didn’t take a lot to get good hair coverage and I have long thick hair. The consistency of this product kinda of reminded me of a melted wax. The clean feel was there while rinsing, you know the one where your hair feels soft and smooth and you can run your fingers through your hair with no tangles… a great feeling while rinsing. During dry time… I did not add any additional hydration products to see how my hair felt. Upon fully drying I was feeling like it was drying very dry which my hair typically does but after sleeping with my hair up and taking it down the next morning I was surprised that my hair was not frizzy and actually looked and felt good! I am willing to give this another go and see about long term results.
