The Ordinary The Skin Glow Set

I've been using this for a few months and I noticed a difference early on. I pat it on with fingers (it's like water) and let it dry. I use it every morning after washing and only need a small amount of moisturiser as it doesn't feel drying. I'm in my 70s and it's brightened my skin totally - a brilliant product!

I have been using this product since 2017 and simply does not compare with any other product at its price point and effectiveness. Apply to clean but very slightly damp face and only use a pea sized amount for the entire face, a little goes a long way. This is my holy grail, I see a visible difference as well as a textural difference if I go a few days without using this product. With consistent use, I have no hyperpigmentation and not as prone to developing it as previously. This is one of two active products I use in my routine. I alternate this with tretionoin for the best results. Only use it at bedtime given the greasy texture.

It takes a bit of getting used to, due to the texture, but wow- the results are worth it ! Skin has a soft glow - i\nUse in the morning with block out - at night the retinoid with copper peptide - i am 51’and constantly complimented on my skin

I bought this product 20 days ago, and wow, the change is already noticeable. It doesn't irritate the skin, the changes are quickly visible, my skin is soft, and it's super easy to use. After trying many other brands, this one has become my favorite. I recommend it 100%.

I love this product. I’ve been using weekly for 6 weeks and I’m sure my skin is softer.

For how cheap this product is, it’s a great source of vit C. I’ve used it for ~2 years and built up tolerance over time (once a week, then every 5 days, every 3 days, etc, now my skin tolerates it easily) and had no issues. The product texture is definitely al dente, but that was expected based on reviews. Grittiness disappears within minutes but face still feels like it has something on it, it’s like an overnight treatment. And when I wake up my skin feels moisturised and plump. My skin has a fair bit of glow but this is likely due to using Vit C consistently for years, this product is just a cost effective way to get plenty of vit C into your skin. Consider having a milder vit C serum to alternate this suspension with for the first half a year or so.

Been using this toner for a couple years now, def a staple now. I know your not “supposed to” but i use with my retinol nightly. Then my am routine is hydration/ antioxidant repair.. i always get compliments on my skin

It’s awful! The okd formula was so fantastic and this one is so awful I don’t understand! It’s grainy, doesn’t absorb into skin, feels greasy, just really really awful

Honestly I am not a fan of this formula’s texture. But… i can simply say wow!!! My routine starts with glycolic acid toner, HA +B5 and this vit C suspension cream, next day i substitute HA+B5 with retinoid and keeps rotating. I started this routine right before Christmas, so it hasn’t been a month yet. Everyday i wake up i am surprised to see how my skin literally shines when i check myself in the mirror after a face wash. I love love love this new look of my skin so much and i think this cream is the key to my everyday’s routine. My skin never looks more healthy, smooth and radiant. Thank you!! I’ll keep using deciem’s products from now on

Not sure how ppl can stand the smell of this product it’s very gross, but I guess dissipates quickly after being rubbed in. I haven’t used it long enough to tell a difference, I know the other vitamin C cream made a noticeable difference in an age spot I have so I’m hoping to see similar progress with this. Just wanted to note the smell.

I really wanted to love this – I bought it over a month ago and had high hopes. Sadly, it’s been a bit of a crusty experience. I've only managed to use it a handful of times because the texture is… odd. The liquid part just kind of sits on top of my skin, while the powdery bits cling to my fingers like they’ve found their forever home.\n\nI'm not entirely convinced any of the “active” ingredients are actually making it to my face – it feels more like a missed connection than a skincare moment.\n\nIt’s a real shame, because I’ve had great results with other products from this brand. They’ve been brilliant at keeping my skin hydrated – which is my number one goal. This one just didn’t hit the mark.\n\nHere’s hoping the formula gets a bit of a revamp – I’d love to give it another go if it ever gets a glow-up of its own!

At first I used it Am & PM daily, but I now use it only once daily in the AM, due to skin flushing if over-used. I've been incorporating this into my daily routine now for over a month and have noticed that my skin is smoother, more supple and soft to the touch. The product has no smell, spreads well and absorbs into the skin quickly. I have dry-combo skin, and have found that this product does not dry my skin out at all. In fact, it leaves me with a 'glass-skin' look immediately after applying and fades into a healthy glow as it absorbs. My face feels hydrated but not oily. This has become a staple, and I would highly recommend that you give it a try, especially considering the affordability and effectiveness. Be sure to patch test first!

This product has changed the game for my adult acne!I have oily, sensitive, dry skin. Yes, even when it's overproducing oil, it's still dry.I bought this product with hyaluronic acid + the moisturizer. The moisturizer I use only at night, as it is a bit too thick for day time use, but it also is good to put on after the Glycolic acid to reduce dryness by the acid**.There was an adjustment period with this, as they describe it is a bit tough on sensitive skin. So I started with every other day and now apply it every night. Best purchase by far to break down any build up to stop the acne before it occurs. I also noticed my acne is less cycstic than it used to be. CAUTION ABOUT THE SUN!!! This product does make your skin more prone to burns and brown spots by sun exposure. SPF is your friend with this stuff. I kind of learned the hard way with this one. Worth the try if you are acne prone!

Sooo..I find this too harsh on my face. I guess I'm just not as oily as I used to be, due to all the ordinary goodness (Niacinamide, Retinol etc.), so this one I now use on my back and arms, skin clears up and feels great! I also put this in my armpits to prevent sweating, a hack I learned from a blogger. My prefered AHA for now is the mandelic acid. I began using this product in May of this year and have been using it everyday and now I'm back to buy the larger bottle! I absolutely love this stuff. When I first got it, I used it every other day then began using it every night once I knew it wasn't horrible on my skin and now I use it both in the morning and in the evening. My skin is prone to mild break outs and it's sensitive so I was prepared for the worst; but the worst never came. It has significantly cleared up my skin, even in my problem areas along my jaw, and has made my skin the smoothest it has ever looked since before puberty haha. \r\nI found the best way to apply it so it's not sticky is right after I'm done washing my face to just pat my face until it's not dripping wet and pat 3 drops of this product onto my skin after rubbing it around in my hands. I let it dry before applying my facial oil/ sunscreen lotion.

Incredible formula! Yes, it does have a slightly gritty feel, as mentioned in the description. However, unless you over-apply, as I did when using it for the first time, it should absorb quickly, and not flake off or ball up. This serum also performs wonderfully under makeup. My skin is sensitivr and breaks out easily, yet I experienced no adverse effects with this serum. If anything, I'd say that it has greatly improved my skin.Here's how I apply The Ordinary's Vitaminc C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2%: squeeze literally a pea-sized amount into my hand, and warm it up between my palms. Gently press it all overy face to warm it up even further and dissolve the Vitamin C, and THEN rub it into my skin. Squeeze out another pea-sized drop and repeat the process with my neck and chest. Afterward, I'd apply my usual SPF and makeup. That's it! I plan on using this for the rest of my life.

I've never written a review before, but I'm so happy with this product, and with the fact that it is being offered for a reasonable price (thank you TO so much), that I just want to share my experience.\r\n\r\nI've only used this for 4 days, twice a day, and I'm already seeing positive results. I have a very thin, transparent skin, and veins showing through it create a kind of sickly overall look, especially around the nostrils. I also have redness all over my face, and some pigment scars from acne. All these are less visible after just 4 days! I'm beyond happy and will post another review once I see my long term results. The serum is also perfectly non irritating and I'm able to wear it day and night without any problems. Easy to put on, and easy to combine with other products. It feels great on my skin, and I feel like it lightly controls my excessive oiliness, too. Just perfect. <3

I can't say enough about this serum. I am 41 years old and have struggled off and on with blemishes my whole life but more so since I had my kids. I have had problems with little bumps, milia and blackheads on my face, neck and chest for years. I have used SO many different products...cleansers, toners, serums, oils, exfoliators and moisturizers. I have spent way too much money on products that didn't work and the ones I thought worked do not even compare to this line. I have had facials and laser treatments and microabrasion which were the only things that really helped but were very costly. I recently purchased a bunch of products from The Ordinary and I am blown away!!! My skin is so smooth and soft and 90% of my bumps are gone!!! I know it is mainly from this serum. I just am amazed and how quickly my skin has changed. I can't recommend this serum enough, I am addicted!!!

Only been using this product for a week or so, but already my face feels so much softer and smoother! Note, my skin has been clear of acne for a few months. The first night I applied it, I woke up with a major breakout in my usual areas: chin, cheeks, and one spot on my forehead. I knew there would be a purging period, as I've had with all The Ordinary products I've tried. It cleared up by the 3rd day and obviously I haven't been using this long enough to notice serious changes, but I can't lie and say I don't already feel a difference. I LOVE this. I benefit greatly from reviews written online so I wanted to write my own here to hopefully help others in their research. I am generally quite skeptical of beauty products and am low-maintenance, but I still always want to look presentable. I have about max 5 products on my shelf at any time for my whole body and most are zero waste. I occasionally have small breakouts, and I resent the time they take (applying makeup, healing when they pop etc.), I decided to try this serum thanks to reviews, packaging & cost, and honestly didn't really think it was working. Then I went away for a 1 week trip without it and got 2 pimples. It may be a coincidence, as the change has been so subtle for me, but I will continue to buy because the application time of 5 seconds each PM and low cost (the bottle looks to last me about 6 months) is worth saving my time and energy when I have breakouts.

Yes, it feels a little bit gritty but the results on my skin are absolutely awesome. After three weeks of use my pimples disappeared and my skintone is much fresher and cleaner. This was the product that I was a little bit afraid to use. I don't really have bad acne but I do get clogged pores pretty easily. I have extremely dry skin so I was worried that this was going to make that even worse. I started off only using it twice a week and I wasn't seeing the results I had hoped for. However, I also wasn't seeing any negative side effects. It wasn't making my skin even drier so I decided to start doing this once a day. Since increasing, a few blemishes have popped up but I'm not too upset about that. I'm going to continue to use this once a day because I've noticed that my skin looks much brighter and the small blemishes I do have heal much, much quicker!\n I usually layer this under the Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5. (I have to make sure I let the first layer dry completely before applying the HA or else the HA balls up. That's not a big issue though.)
